Friendly staff accommodating late check-in

the so-called deluxe room smelled horrible like mold, I can’t even! also, the upstairs pool was dirty, what a disgrace. I almost wrote a good review but the service at breakfast was painfully slow—not a single juice option available. for a hotel of this caliber, I expected at least a welcome gift but got nothing. absolutely unexceptable!

During my business trip, I found the spacious rooms to be quite accommodating. The location right next to the beach was fantastic. I could easily take a stroll down to Boca Chica or grab a drink at Batey drinks house nearby. While the breakfast service was a bit slow, I appreciated that I was allowed to check in at 3 am without any extra charges. The beach access made it a nice spot to unwind after meetings.

Waking up to the sound of the waves was heavenly. The spacious rooms provided comfort, and I truly appreciated the late check-in without extra charges.

Finally, I had a cozy moment with my partner at the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed the beautiful view, sipping on drinks while watching the sunset. The staff was genuinely friendly, especially Rachel, she made sure everything was perfect, which really made our stay special.

It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but it still felt reasonable for what we got.

The bathroom in the deluxe room needed better cleaning, along with the upstairs pool. Internet reliability was shaky, and I experienced frequent electricity outages. The closet gave off a moldy smell, ruining some of my shirts.

This place is super family-friendly, with fantastic access to whale-watching. The nearby beach was just a short walk, which was perfect for our crew.

My wife says that more kid-friendly activities would be great.

I had a lovely stay at Friohot Boca Chica. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. My room was spacious and clean, and the beautiful beach access was just across the street. I enjoyed my visits to the hotel’s restaurant. the food was delicious and service was quick.
